Wow! Very interesting! In that case you could probably teach me a thing or two on the history of NY! Anytime you're back in NY just say the word and I'll be there!

Seriously, great pic. Used to play a lot of basketball some years ago. Even won a dunk contest with those shoes. But Penny Hardaways first Olympic shoes are my favorite shoe ever! :)

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pat, let me know if you have video of that dunk contest! Oh and by the way I promise to never ever ever ever post pics of my 116718 again!

Namor looking smashing as usual! Yes, I am a boot lover also. Could never live in FL year round, as I would miss wearing boots. I purchased some Frye and Chloe the same type of style as the Chanel, but recently sold them on eBay as they just weren't fitting the bill. I will try and post a pic of my grail of boots-the Hermes Jumping boot. I got them in Paris at FSH (their flagship store) several years ago.....

G8RDPM thank you and always happy to enable some shopping for the wife! Hope she enjoys her Choos- they are super classic and comfortable.

Ken Minty green with envy! lol Nothing but zoom zoom zoom around the neighborhood today, lots of cool cars. My daughter even wants to see the races.
Thanks Shannon-- enjoy! Love the Hermes boot too!

And Sam my man enjoy that Lobster!!

Ahhh...yes Shannon...truly a very classic pair of boots...do u like to wear them with Jodhpurs, jeans, or accompanying a skirt? Mebbe weather permitting, you would have a pic of them on the stems...good call on the Frye on EBay and getting the Chanels...Chloes are quite nice as well, but seems the boots u had gotten weren't speaking to you as clearly as your Chanels...like I said earlier, the look is smashing...

I'm loving my 16200. Just so versatile. I wore it all week with suits and today it's on duty with casual wear - jeans and RM Williams boots.

Pure E V I L.

No video I´m afraid. Was back in the 90´s when I played in high school. Before I realized there´s no real future playing basketball here in Sweden. Should have gone with soccer, golf or something instead :P

Sam - I know you are a JLC convert - you may want to give some consideration to an AMVOX 2 - if you can find one.

I have yet to see any watch guy not smile when I show them the push start chrono

http://jlc.watchprosite.com/show-for...ti-591581/s-0/

Thats a great summary

I believe AMVOX 7 will be the last of the line - and also has the push start chrono complication

I really like the AMVOX 5 World Chronograph in rose gold. JLC is a great brand! I wouldn't be surprised if a Master Chronograph or Master Geographic is my next watch. Have 3 vintage JLC pieces at home which are very nice too

Namor, this is a pic taken from last winter. Too hot now to be wearing these boots, I like to wear them with a skirt & tights, or skinny jeans.

Took them right out of the box and wore them to the Louvre. This was in 2009.
