I'm following this forum not by a long time, and I have to say that
the quality of the people here looks great, very polite, and with a very good knowledge
on watches...
Nothing to compare with the Italian Forum...(Orologi Passioni) where, as the word state, there's too much passion...

I Haven't lived in Italy but I have been there many times for work and pleasure and I have to say it is an absolutely beautiful country, with very warm and lovely people, and I also have to say I know exactly what you mean :-)

I guess I should speak to the original post. Yes I wear a Rolex everyday to work other than on days that it may take a beating. The one day when I did wear a Seiko diver someone did comment "Hey nice watch is that a Rolex?"

Maybe he uses the watch to pressure test the boiler, that truly would make it a tool watch.

I normally wear mine to work but I couldn't dare to wear it on a business trip where I was spending time with big shots of the company at company dinners etc. Wore my breitling instead. I saw one of them wearing SS Daytona and I was somehow glad that I didn't wear mine cause most probably he gets 20 times more money than me and he would think that they are paying me more than I should get paid if he'd seen me wearing BLNR. Maybe I'm thinking too much though.

I wear mine daily (114060). It's been picked up on by a few partners in my firm who both commented positively, by one client who had an older datejust on his wrist ( we tried each other's watches on and had a talk about watches in general ) and by a fellow co-worker who has a BLNR.

I don't and wouldn't hesitate to wear my watch, regardless of the company I am in.

I used to but then people started asking me about it, how much it cost, etc. So if I'm wearing my shirt without rolling the sleeves or I am wearing a sweater I might still. Otherwise very rarely. You know what though, I really should.

Love Italy, my folks have a home in Le Marche. But still have a special place in my heart for Roma.

I wear my sub daily. I'm a criminal defense lawyer, and clients like seeing their lawyers sporting a Rolex. My sub is perfect as it is also low key enough that it won't upset jurors. What i really need is either a YG sub or Skydweller. That would be be really good marketing and I could raise my fees a good bit. I even checked with my CPA to see if I could expense it as marketing. Sadly, that might make me audit bait.
