This is pretty sad:

https://www.chrono24.nl/all/czapek-a...id21837107.htm

The green Fratello edition is already being sold on Chrono24. Especially annoying as it was so limited and many people haven’t even received theirs yet.

As an enthusiast for decades, it pisses me off too.

Btw, when I saw the MB&F Tribe-only pop up for sale

That’s even more crazy. But yeah, there is always someone with too much money who doesn’t care :) I personally wouldn’t pay more than 25k euros for it.

Is this actually happening? If I'm an owner, can I get my endlinks replaced with these extending endlinks? If so, I would be super excited. The lack of an extension in the endlinks was the only stumbling block that I had to purchasing my Antarctique, but I eventually decided to lay down the coin anyway. If you have any info about this, I would love to hear it.

The Czapek is in a completely different league than a DJII. If you can make that exchange, I would absolutely recommend that you go for it.

Yes, it is being released on Thursday's Monochrome special edition that has the upgraded / adjustable bracelet. Decided if i can get one, will reserve it :)

E-mail them to see if the newly-designed adjustable butterfly clasp can be retrofitted to yours.

Details on it are at https://monochrome-watches.com/intro...ability-price/

Haven't you all heard? Watches are the new crypto investment vehicle of choice.

Your 5711 White Dial will be worth $11.5 Million in 2023.

Not really analogous. The Rolex will be able to take more of a beating (although after a year of use my Antarctique is proving pretty damn solid), but by every other subjective and objective measure, the Czapek is in a different league.

Only 20 minutes until the Monochrome limited edition goes on sale. It'll be cool to see who is able to get one before they're sold out.

Congratz!

Just for info, watch came online @ 14H55 CET.
5min early. I added to basket and checkout at 14H55, went to payment and than cancelled.
I do not want the watch but was curious if it would work. @15H02 'SOLD OUT'.

Sounds like they went online 5 mins earlier than they promised? Not sure if that's really fair or not. Regardless, they really sold like hotcakes!

I have been telling people to get an Antarctique a long time ago before it was hot. They scoffed at me. Now they all come back asking for an allocation…

(Deep Sigh) I feel ya there. You can only do so much, as I have also had moments trying to help friends. The upside is, we hope, next time they will be more attentive

I've been a VERY curious onlooker like many here. This new release resonates with me so went for it

Great sign that they are selling the way they are. Watching the antarctique series and the reviving a watch brand series on youtube really makes one appreciate the brand. Having all the components made to their own spec by some of the best suppliers in the watch industry is impressive.

So my AD says that they are going to provide the extending clasp for all current owners for free. I haven't heard from Czapek directly, but I do trust my AD to get it right.
