Best. Thread. Ever.

I have small wrists -really small - so I'm not sure if it will work. Have to make a trip to a large AD to try one on.

Thanx Doc and all others for the gorgeous pics. A pixel-rich thread.

If I am not entirely off the specs, I think the Daytona is a 42mm and buyers with small wrists should not be too worried. It will fit in and also be a good presence.

You are close it is 40mm, same as sub...

I do think the ceramic bezel gives it a somewhat larger wrist presence vs previous models

Tom, this piece is a monster! It is a must have for anyone who wants to own the finest that Rolex has to offer! Unfortunately its beyond me, but I have a friend who is very well connected with an AD. If your deal falls through with the folks you are working with and you want the watch at a better price than what they are offering let me know. I'm sure I can point you in a better direction! Best!

This thread is going to cost me money and my grown kids and grandkids will not like you all for leading this old man astray, but what a way to spend your kids inheritance.

Remember: Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional or as my wife publicly states, Fighter pilots never grow up... and I don't want to

As Tom knows hair on fire at warp nine in a Porsche 911 will give you a big shot of the fountain of youth

Hahaha... With the likely return of a healthy inheritance tax in this country you might as well enjoy it!

Very entertaining thread and great pics Tom. Best.

The Platona compares pretty well even to something the size of the YMII

40 vs 44mm never looked so good!

Vs YM I and BLNR!!!
