Does anyone know...not planning on it now at least...if the RSC will change your dial if you ever decided you wanted a change? Anyone know any approximate prices? And how about bezel? What's the cost if you ever need to get it replaced? I like wearing my watches without worrying about them.

I know the dial can be changed/swapped in the UK for the DJ and DD variants... Can't quite remember the cost though. A call to your nearest AD or RSC to find out the cost.

No idea on the bezel replacement cost... It'd either be WG or YG, so I wouldn't expect it to be on the cheap side

I seem to remember someone saying that the datejust is the most recognized rolex in the world? Is this true?

More than likely, it is Rolex best selling watch.

I have never really notice this but now I get why DJ II has a larger fluted bezel in proportion compared to Datejust. Its to capture more light to give more bling :D

I really like the Date Just II. I firmly believe that it is a nice blend of the classic look of Rolex, while giving it the size for a more modern appeal. I would definitely love to have this watch for my next purchase..

Here's mine, taken at my daughter's wedding in Alaska. Its has a fairly rare white roman shantung dial. I love it

Each to there own I suppose...
Bought the Datejust II (blue Arabic numerals) last week and it's at the dealers at the moment.
Going down this week to pick it up....

This is my first full read through this thread.

I am just floored by how beautiful the black dial with gold Romans DJII looks.

Perhaps, after many years with my champagne Romans DDII, I'll see if Rolex will change out the dial to the black Romans - stunning!

I owned this piece at one time and I loved it to pieces. Still it is one I regret selling.
