I'm 29. I spent almost this entire decade of my life traveling and studying whatever I felt like and I earned a master's along the way. I did very well investing in the precious metals market. I just started getting into watches. It has become my second love after Japanese swords.

16610 (before anyone says it, that is not the real bracelet. My 93150 is beautifully stretch free and I want to keep it that way. This is a $40 guy I got on amazon. Looks pretty good, except for the end links, in my opinion)

The mod staff is a pretty laid back group. Given the number of posts on TRF (over 3,000,000), the number of members (over 72,000), and the number of members who are on-line at any one time (right now it's over 400), the mod staff does not really interfere with the participation here. In fact, we participate along with all other members when a thread interests us.

Carry on.

Interesting Post

Is there a relationship between wearing a luxury watch and education. A smart guy would not waste as much money as I have on watches. I can always liquidate them, but should I be investing the money in something else......I sound like my wife!
No Way.

Master of Architecture. University of Southern California

Lucky guy

High School grad. Learned life in USMC 1966-68. Mostly self educated. My wife thinks I am mensa material----I know better! Mechanically inclined--fell into the
Photocopy business in 1969. Started my own company 1976 and did very well for myself. I always tell people I'm just a lucky guy who was in the right place at the right time. I always believed that if you go a few more steps than the other guy it will make a big difference in anything you try. Nothing replaces hard work and determination---but a little luck does help.
