Gotta go get my briefcase out of the truck and take a similar pic

I wish CWC would do the C3 version of the 1983, hell make it the standard as I prefer the C3 to the faux patina, but that fat minute hand sent me over the edge and I jumped on in!

Thank you sir!
They do if you go with the auto version: light vintage, dark vintage or C3. Yours looks great, though!

The cwc is more legible because of the larger hands. The matte vs gloss dial has nothing to do with it. If you want to mod it that much you can always check with those outfits that mid watches, the name escapes me now. My speedy is a matte dial and so have no need for my 16610 to be matte, as I like versatility in a collection. I think the gloss dial, actually makes the 16610 perhaps the most versatile watch Rolex has ever made. Can be worn anywhere and with just about everything save a tux (and even then I got married in mine).

No the matte does make a difference. It reflects less light and makes reading the time easier. Gloss dials can work as signal mirrors in a pinch

I've got a matte dial on my 214270 and the difference is obvious. I've had my 16610 next to a 1680 and 1675 - again noticeable difference.

To the hands - I had a set of 16610LV maxi hands put on it.

I've used LAWW and RolliWorks for mods in the past, called both already and they didn't know a good way to produce the outcome I wanted. So if its to leave it be then so be it, still love the piece.
