Imo the Submariner is one that covers all the bases if one is to be restricted to one watch only. (one watch only ? )

If i could only have one watch then it would be the GMTIIc. The Sub-c LN is a very close 2nd. Either one would work for any situation.

I would say the Rolex Submariner. If you want one watch to handle every harsh environment known to man, and then wear it with a suit and tie. Some say that is just the same. lol. Then, that is your watch.

Restricted to only one, I would have to go with my Planet Ocean Liquidmetal LE:

My wife describes it in one word, "elegant", but it dresses up or down with ease. Rated to 600m, it is the most accurate of all my watches. The double AR coating makes the crystal virtually invisible and the bezel design is outstanding.

I love my DJ and new 42mm EXPII but this would be my choice.

SS/PT Yachty or GMTc would be my choice... Though I do wear my AP calendar all day every day!

The only Watch I would want is the only watch I have is the GMTIIc. Mine is SS, but that TT looks amazine. Maybe one day I'll treat myself to a TT. The Sub is also nice, but I still prefer the look of the GMT.
