So my Starbucks had the protective film on since February and the edges had collected enough lint and dust that I decided to use the 2nd film that came with the order and reapply. Now it looks nice and new again.
Fair warning, haters gonna hate. They love their "memories" of them scratching their watch. To each their own. This is what it looks like after I take the film off This is after I replaced the film Now I let it sit overnight to let it settle in and I'm good to go, for hopefully longer this time. I forgot to mention the use of Scotch Brite on the brushed areas, very carefully and lightly until any scuffs or shallow small scratches are gone other wise I use the Cape Cod Polishing Cloth on all high polish areas including precious metal. Each to his own. Do as much or as little as "you" want. It is your watch to keep or not to keep until either death do you part or you sell or trade it in.....

I don't know if they easily buff out because I never bother. I expect they will. And then you'll have another set in no time.
