Imagine this thread came up a couple years ago about trading an OP for a Pepsi, people would be so confused...

Yes. Do that trade. 100%.

Whoever does the trade with you might need to get their head checked!

+1… Keep the greed (which is natural to all humans) to one side, and think of it like this - you have a chance to get out of a watch you haven’t bonded with, to your grail… why wouldn’t you do that

Yes yes yes!

Do it and get some cash back. Don’t let a gray rip the OP from you now. If they are asking $32,000, they can pay $28,000 for it.

Yes but make sure you get the most for your op41. Prices will likely continue to go up due to hype though

I would definitely make that move. I would be keen to see if you could sell it yourself and then pick up the BLRO from an AD - more cash in your pocket.

Would you make this trade?

I know lots will say, "buy what you like". I like them both but would possibly want to take advantage of what may be temporary price madness with the OP41 turquoise.

Thanks.

One or both might happen.........seems like trading watches isn't for you!!

I would trade for sure but you should be getting money back. Close to $10k. At least 7 or 8k.

As crazy as it sounds, this is not a fair trade if you’re not getting cash back.

I like the Pepsi better, but there is no way I would do that trade. The Tiffany blue OP is much more valuable and I suspect will continue to climb in value, especially if those rumors of it being discontinued in 2022 are correct. I would wait before making any rash decisions. You're sitting on a potential gold mine.

Hang on, a big standard entry level OP exceeds value of BLRO…?! not checked OP lately but that is madness. You’d be a fool not to jump on that deal, op! Go for it.

You’d have to be as mad as a box of frogs or have more money than sense to pay those prices for an OP turquoise, cute as it no doubt is.

Second aside, you pretty much can get a Daytonas as well for what some dealers are asking -40-45k GBP.

Wait it out. Hype train is getting started. We still have plenty more celebrities to come out on social media with the turquoise dials, be it the Nautilus or OP.

Yeah, I wouldn’t do it. The turquoise OP41 will be a cultural icon living well beyond the narrow confines of our hobbyist discussion boards for many years.

Probably would do something along those lines, but only if working with an AD and getting BNIB. Perhaps go for a Pepsi and OP41 in dark blue or silver dial? You're basically getting a free Pepsi (since MSRP on the two OPs is the same), while dealer is selling $15k worth of watches at approximately double (if they can move the Tiffany at $30k). A supremely good deal all around.

I'd be interested in hearing what grey dealers are offering (real #'s) on the OP. I would think they have to be a little cautious...

I honestly would do this trade, as long as they gave me three (3) BLROs or trade for a meteorite white gold GMT for the oyster perpetual 41 Tiffany turquoise.

That would be a fair trade.

You think I'm joking? Not really.
