Doesn’t do anything for me I’m afraid. What I love about the GMT is the day and night contrast on the bezel and this just doesn’t have it. Maybe they could make an Oreo with black and white (although that would look truly awful)?

Rather boring. You get a similar effect in some lighting with an all black ceramic bezel anyways. Not unattractive but it is unimaginative and does little to signify a real-world difference. Unless someone is in northern Norway in winter or something.

I understand the appeal, but personally not for me. I like a pop of color on the bezel (sprite or batman), or the pepsi treatment for a steel GMT. A blackout version would be cool, but the pic is not really a "blackout". It just kinda looks like a sub with a GMT bezel.
