Excellent pics and love the look - how does it feel on your wrist in comparison to a Luminor Marina Pam or a DSSD??

Very similar to my 104 on OEM bracelet. Feels great on the wrist, but do keep in mind I have a 19.5cm wrist.

Enjoy!

I think I would grow tired of this watch very quickly but if you like it nothing else matters. I hope you enjoy that watch.

Chris...19.5cm wrist?? Holy cow, that's the size of most people ankle LOL. Kidding aside, big congrats on this watch!! Your pics really do the watch justice. I also own this watch and I love it so much that I usually go for this watch.....that's saying a lot since I have to by pass the 312, SS Daytona, All gold GMT IIc in my collection to wear it. It just fun to wear and I'm sure you find the weight amazing. Again, big congrats and I'm sure you feel like a kid all over again.

Strange thing is that I saw it at an Omega evening, about three months ago.Was apathetic about it .....found it interesting, thats all.Strangely it "got stuck in my head" and now I am wearing one !!This is one that you have to see in the metal and have to try on the wrist...if you have a chance, try it.

I am from big breeding stock !!

Tried to capture the PLOngeur PROFessional (Such a cool name !! ) from all angles to give a total three-dimensional idea on the watch.Strangely,it an easy watch to photograph, because it has so many interesting angles of view.

It bold, big, retro, modern, unique and like you say .... fun to wear !!

I always feel like a kid when it comes to nice watches !!

Dang... thanks Chris, you've upset my apple cart.

Just when I thought I had my "wish-list" locked down and secure, you show me this! Now I'm going to do mental gymnastics for days trying to figure out where this slots in to my list of "watches I must have"...!!!

BTW, HUGE congrats on a HUGE watch. and the pics really are fantastic.

This watch is simply amazing in my opinion. The crystal on this watch is so clear I get caught in believing if it is not even there sometimes. Solid construction is an understatement. It duel as a weapon. Throw it in a would be robber's face and it would leave a hole the size of your fist. Heck, you can hammer nails to wood if you incline to do so. It tells great time and with the 8500 Co-Axial movement is an achievement in itself. At first impression, most would think that it is the most ugly-iest watch ever. But strangely enough, some grows fond of it and it becomes a watch that stands out on its' own.

Congratulations Chris. And no sin at all. Great to have some variety now and then. On the Omega thread some of the Plof owners swear by the comfort and balance. Its certainly a head turner!

Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, stop posting pics of that beauty. I tried one on in the London Boutique in January and nearly nearly bought it. Then decided it is just a little too big for my 7 inch wrists and got the 243 instead. If you keep on posting those pics you are going to make me wonder....

Awesome watch Chris, congrats!!!!

The Co-Axial is a wonderful escapement. No other escapement can compare when it comes to long-term accuracy, except the antique detent like in ship's chronometers, however they are too delicate for a wristwatch. The Co-Axial system needs no lubrication at the contact points, so there is no rate drift as the oil changes and dries. Thanks Mr. Daniels for giving the world this escapement.
