The watch buying "experience" can no longer be considered an "experience."
"Ordeal" or "saga" is probably closer to the truth. |

Agree with this. While the cardboard is more eco friendly and comports with Rolex and their efforts at going green/conservation, I find the plastic cases to be very useful when storing or shipping a watch (e.g., for service).

I totally agree. The cardboard caskets are underwhelming. I may order a few of the plastic ones from eBay. I hope they aren’t going up in price, since being discontinured….. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The box, ne’er a coffin or casket, is useful if you need to store many watches in a small space like a bank deposit box or firesafe.
Either construction in that use case are equally suited. I avoid the foam and plastic only because the outgassed chemicals deposit a film when the watch is enclosed for long-term storage. Not a problem - just more to clean off when recommissioning a watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I think I’ve been given 2 or 3 coffins when purchasing? Can’t remember, but I know I didn’t ask for them
