My blue Everest is a reason I’ve kept my BLNR. The Oyster with easylink has never given me a good fit. That said it may be time to order a sub bracelet or jubilee for it.

I'm leaning for the black RubberB that accommodates the OEM clasp for a more subtle look.

2nd choice is the blue Everest, since RubberB doesn't have it.

That being said, which one has a better fit? Do they come with springbars?

I vote MEH, and based on all photos that I saw posted here after voting, I stand with my vote. The only one I can confidently get behind is the black strap for black Sub. Everything else is kinda meh.

Not a fan of GMT on rubber, really distracts from such a cool look with bracelet. . The Sub with the blue strap looks good. Great summer look.

I generally don't like rubber straps on any watch, especially a Rolex. Hard to beat the Oyster and Jubilee.

If we're talking about cheaper watches, then I think a rubber bracelet is a good alternative.

The one exception might be the Aquanaut. Seems like that watch was made with a rubber strap in mind.

One other thing...I don't know why it's trendy to put a rubber strap on a watch for Summer. Rubber straps are awful in the summer. Bracelets are way better. I live in FL, so I consider myself somewhat of an expert on what to wear on hot humid days...

To each their own, but I just love a rubber strap in the summer. Goes great around the pool and tones down the watch a bit...

41 mm Bluesy on a RubberB. Very sporty as previously mentioned during the warmer months.

You have good taste my friend.

PS - I put mine on a tri-fold clasp. Much easier to put on and don't have to worry about dropping the watch when putting in on.

I must admit that I don’t own a 'watch roll' and while they look nice, they don’t suit my day-to-day needs as:
A) I keep my autos on winders
B) Anything not in rotation to be worn is placed in its box
C) I don’t typically travel with multiple timepieces unless I’m showing thm to a customer and in that situation they travel in their boxes.

I do add straps to my time pieces as it keeps their original bracelets minty fresh. I typically have a variety of straps for each timepiece and they’re often interchangeable.

Looks great!
Would you mind sharing the brand of the Tri-fold clasp? Most aftermarket ones I have seen are somewhat flimsy.

Unfortunately he went out of business (RHD). There are multiply makers out there though. Just have to find the right one.

I may try a Mr Wonderful red strap on my Sea Dweller to match the red letters. I do like the white ones though. Black maybe too plain for my taste.

Yes. A Rubber B is actually pretty easy when compared to trying to install a leather strap. Be patient, tape the lugs and use the proper tools.

Here are a few videos to watch. The first one is good in that is shows how to tape the lugs and the best way to remove the bracelet (move the watch, not the bracelet). The second video shows how I install a rubber or leather strap - one lug at a time. I use this same method to remove a strap - one lug at a time. The third video shows the Bergeon tools I use.

Both removing the bracelet and installing the strap is pretty simple. Leather is a little more challenging because they don't have much give to compress the spring bar.

I use both the Bergeon 7825 and 6767F tools. The 7825 to remove the bracelet and the 6767F to install and remove the strap.

I think rubber straps can look OK (provided they use the original Rolex folding clasp), but IMO it's hard to beat a Rolex bracelet. I'd 100% go with a watch roll instead.

A couple of layers of Sellotape (or ideally electrical tape) on the lugs, the right tool, and a bit of CARE! That's all it takes.

I have to say, I agree. I bought a few NATO straps upon allocation of my sub date because I really wanted something other that the stainless bracelet to work and look good. All aftermarket straps are underwhelming to me. The bracelet has to be more than 1/2 the aesthetic of the total watch.

Pick the Everest watch roll. They’re top notch.
