Thank you, thank you. Have to say I've been short on inspiration the last few days, but I'm all right now.

Thanks to all you guys. "That new watch feeling" is like a drug. You get addicted. So I just get off the phone with my AD. I think I might be putting a downpayment toward my next one already. Once my wife finds out, can I stay at one of your guys place??? I hate to say it, But JJ & James do liv e in a sunny place.

Top 10 Predicitions...
Quote:
Hey JJ! I might be out on a limb on this one, but after your warm welcome I'm sure you wouldn't mind me taking a stab: TOP TEN FAMOUS PREDICTIONS: (From 10 to 1) Number 10: "640K ought to be enough for anybody." Bill Gates, CEO and founder of Microsoft and world's wealthiest man, 1981 Number 9: "The world potential market for copying machines is 5000 at most." IBM , to the eventual founders of Xerox, saying the photocopier had no market large enough to justify production, 1959 Number 8: "I have traveled the length and breadth of this country and talked with the best people, and I can assure you that data processing is a fad that won't last out the year." The editor in charge of business books for Prentice Hall, 1957 Number 7: "I think there is a world market for maybe five computers." Thomas Watson, chairman of IBM, 1943 Number 6: "Stock prices have reached what looks like a permanently high plateau." Irving Fisher, Yale University Professor of Economics, 1929 (two weeks later, the stock market crashed and the Great Depression started) Number 5: "The radio craze will die out in time." Thomas Edison, American inventor, 1922 Number 4: "That the automobile has practically reached the limit of its development is suggested by the fact that during the past year no improvements of a radical nature have been introduced." Scientific American, Jan. 2 edition, 1909 Number 3: "We are probably nearing the limit of all we can know about astronomy." Simon Newcomb, Canadian-born American astronomer, 1888 Number 2: "...so many centuries after the Creation it is unlikely that anyone could find hitherto unknown lands of any value." Committee advising King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain regarding a proposal by Christopher Columbus, 1486 And the number 1 famous prediction on our list: "How do I convince you, Johnny, that the 16610 was the one I was actually after since a very long time? You know for a fact that I've always called it the ULTIMATE Rolex....even when I didn't have it. But now that I have it, it's gonna STAY!! Just trust me on this one, my friend!!" - JJ Iran, Rolex enthusiast and an all around good guy on his supposed last Rolex flip. What can I say, JJ? When you do flip, take comfort in the fact that you'll at least be in good company ... have a good one. |
