Interesting with the Speedmasters I have been sitting on the fence for 20 years thinking of buying one. i have never procrastinated so much on a watch.

Forgot the 4 daytona's I had also...

I owned a speedmaster once, it left in a week. I like the way it looks in pics but when i had it on my wrist, It left me completely cold. I then got a tokyo olympics speedmaster with blue dial and that one lasted 2 weeks.

There's just something about the Speedy that says "nice"in pictures and history and then "not" in person.

I blame the lyre lugs / case shape, at least for my wrist.

Have to agree Jesse … I’ve tried two different Speedies iterations and I want to own one. That said, they just don’t sing to me on the wrist

This one always haunted me ... I bought it originally on May 4 2017 to celebrate my 50th bday. Wore it for about 3 years and convinced myself the caseback bothered my wrist

It always haunted me though ... to the point where I caved and recently bought it back from @jets (Mario). I'm glad I did.

Sure, isn't the most comfortable reference to wear, but man I sure love everything else about it. I'll suffer through ...

Sometimes this hobby makes no sense

I haven’t posted because I think I still can’t believe it.

For me it's the awful bracelet. Now after 12 years in the safe I decided to have it serviced and bought a mesh bracelet for it. We'll see when I get it back.

The Ed White 321 is the keeper for me. The bracelet is perfect too.

The previous gen bracelet didn’t really work for me either. I bought an Omega 1170 bracelet, that set me right with my Speedy.

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?
