I don't think it's too small at all.

I think too many people worry about that... are you comfortable with it? I wear some very small vintage pieces and could care less what other people think. I have a 30mm Longines that was my grandfathers from 1948... I wear the tiny watch with pride.

The watch is fine and looks great. I'm not sure what adjusting the bracelet has to do with how big or small the watch looks on you...

If I've had to adjust the strap because I've put on weight. That means my wrist is a little bigger. It's not that hard

I think it looks quite good but I tend to prefer more modest watch sizes

Watch looks fine.

Seriously though if you got fat then get unfat.

You changed diet and/or lifestyle to make you get fat so just undo those changes.

I have seen many complaints about comments. I can see it both ways, but crowd seems to be pretty tough. Might be beer keyboard muscles. I have to say it is a beautiful watch. Enjoy it and worst case if you ever trade it in, have confidence you have value with the watch.

Watch looks great on your wrist op. Don’t let any of the negative people bring you down.

I understand it’s easy to become self conscious when weight has been gained and you’re wondering if that has made the watch look odd on your wrist.

As “friendly” and “competent” as you would expect the members of this forum to be there are quite a few that lack any degree of class and it seems even more struggle with reading comprehension.

If the watch feels good on your wrist and makes you happy, that’s all that matters. The opinion of a bunch of dudes on the internet that you’ll probably never run into in real life should have no bearing on your psyche.

If you’re bothered by your weight gain (making the watch look smaller on your wrist hence the addition of links) then you need to make a conscious effort to do something about it for self preservation and happiness.

OP, your watch is well proportioned for you. It looks just right. And, a fine watch it is.

I've gone through periods in my life where my weight creeped up and up and suddenly I needed to adjust the bracelet on a watch. That didn't make the watch appear too small on my wrist. Visually, it looked the same. Adjusting the bracelet certainly made the watch more comfortable on my wrist.

And, I've had the pleasure of getting my weight under control and then discovering that my watch was loose and the bracelet needed to be tightened up. Now that, I can tell you, is a good feeling!

Enjoy you watch, and the weekend, too.

I don’t think that watch is too small at all. I think it looks great. It’s pretty much the same proportion as my Sub is on me. I could probably wear a bigger watch, but why????

To be honest yes it looks a tad small.

You will be better with a DJ41 which is only 38-39mm anyway.

Looks like a fine fit to me.

Everyone's wrist gets a little bigger in summer, by the way.
