Congrats on the SD. My first Rolex was a 16600, I went in looking for a Sub, but left wearing a Sea Dweller.

Good choice, had one, traded it, regrettably what a foolish thing, but I’m happy you got one. Hang on to it.

I agree. For me any sea dweller is a derivative of a submariner. In software domain, we may also call the sea dweller line a "fork".

OK, for us, WIS, we would rather say SD43 or Sea Dweller red, or...

Any way, this is a great watch. Congratulations OP! (coming from a long time desk diver and a frequent bath diver too )

This and big congrats. As you jump in the forum more you will soon learn all the lingo and correct model names. It’s your money call it whatever the hell you want. If you want to call it the big daddy sub more power to you. But SD43 has a nice ring to it too. It’s a seadweller. It’s awesome. Take the credit for going all out and getting the big boy diver. It’s 3mm larger and about $5k more then a submariner. Anyways congrats and wear in good health!!!

OK, this is because of the typo I made, writing "any way" instead of "anyway" ...

You knew then that English was not my native language ...

What I like in this SD43 is the classic proportions and the red lettering. This is to confirm and further explain my opinion.

And thank you for the 2 words in French!
