Reviving this thread as it just popped back into my head and it's one that I go back to all the time in remembering my formative years. Although this show IMO has aged TERRIBLY, this scene had some attention to detail that the true watch folks might remember;

After the scene where Ari asks Lloyd to go buy him a "Stainless Rolex", you later see Ari at lunch with Andrew and he's wearing what I remember being a SS Submariner AND the blue bracelet stickers are still on there I can also recall that the bracelet was way to big on him implying it hadn't been sized yet.

I have to imagine that the producers actually went out, most likely to Geary's, and bought an SS Sub that week and one of the show runners thought it would be great to leave the stickers on just to prove he just bought it.

OR maybe they were going to return it later?

In any case, if this show was based today Lloyd would no doubt be coming back with a TT Datejust or DJII instead of a SUB

Ari would get one of the ten Subs in the back room reserved for this very moment.

Without a doubt. Man I need to go back and rewatch all those seasons. What a great show. Ari killed that show! Lol
