The doctor has determined Sammie has a old fracture probably when she was a kitten and the doctors said they do not want to do an operation if she is in not in any pain .I told the doctor the Sammie runs through the house at lightning speed all the time so that should not be a issue, and the doctor agreed.

Another issue the doctors found out is Sammie has a irregular heart beat that the doctors found out with an echocardiogram that on one side of her heart she pumps more blood than the other, and that was also from a birth defect. So she is going to have heart medication for the problem. The doctors said the heart is in good shape no real problems and with medication she will be back to her self in no time.

The amazing part is Sammie is now using her paw and putting full weight on it. The doctors are now completely baffled on what happened to her.

She is to be coming home soon. They did not rule out a small stroke. With her medication that she will be taking permanently, will prevent a stroke from happening again if that was the cause.

I am so thankful for all of the TRF members support, Sammie is thankful in her cat way also. I have been up since 03:00 AM, I am so tired. after drilling several safes today and fighting the San Diego traffic.

Sammie just got home and I need to take care of her.

What a relief! We get so attached to our animals, it's as if a flesh and blood family member was injured. I'm glad to hear it's less serious than originally thought. My hope is that you and Sammie spend many more happy years together. Take care, Faith

I do not think your dog would stand well against Spooky (Sammie's sister), she will stand her ground, hiss and spit at Buttholya. BTW cute name for the dog!

Trust me, she earns it. FWIW, she doesn't want to hurt cats, she wants to herd cats. Cats thoroughly enjoy watching her making a, (ahem) butthole out of herself. Altogether, a splendid time is had by all. I wouldn't send you a mean dog, David. Just a moronic one.
