7000-miles and 15-hours to the office, or a couple of feet to my home office!

LOL!

The distance to the home office is across the hall from our bedroom.

The distance to my mobile office is down the stairs and out the back door.

The distance to the jobsite is variable, though, and any where from 1/2 mile to 150 miles away.

I fill'er up for about $100 and get a whopping 300 miles out of a full tank.

15 minutes each way if I avoid rush hour - twice as long during rush hour.

I have an 80 mile round trip to my volunteer work, every Tuesday and Saturday.

In town, meetings usually range from from about a mile for committee meetings to 6-7 miles for business meetings.

Punctuality is necessary for local meeting, but the trips to the hangar are pretty much when I get there.

It works for me and it works for them

It's not just a volunteer group, it requires quite a bit of money to be engage in all the activities.

It's the best job I ever hand and wouldn't you know it, I pay them instead of the other way around.
