Doesn't help - but I wish I could answer with a frankenwatch. Ideally I'd have the dial and hands from the PO, in the case of the Pelagos.
I like a lot of what Omega does, but that helium escape crown is not to my taste. |

Pelagos. Minimalist cool and way more comfortable than the PO.

I picked the PO - love it, very versatile watch on the bracelet or rubber.

I guess the number of pro-tudor responses isn't outrageous for a Rolex forum but jeez!

I dunno, they're both nice and in the same league. But I would go for the Pelagos this time around!

The Pelagos over the PO. Don`t like the hands on the Omega

The planet ocean bracelet is the most comfortable I've ever tried - PO for me, for movement accuracy, service interval, 4 year warranty, and great design.
The pelagos is awesome, but I chose the black bay for my first tudor - I already owned a PO at the time and I felt it fit the same niche as the pelagos in my box. |

Sorry, but I have humbly to disagree. I don't know how you can say the Pelagos and PO are in the same league. The movement inside the PO is clearly superior in all facets, be it accuracy, technology, or design. The only similarity in "league" that I see between them is that they're both serious dive watches built to withstand great depths. The Omega PO is a higher quality watch every which way you look, and is priced to reflect that.

Pelagos is now my daily wearer! Clean, well made, classic, nod to the old tudors without being a 'copy' heritage watch, bright lume, latest tech, and a little different to all the rolexes put there...

PO - I agree. I have the 300M auto seamaster, and though I am literally in love with it, I'd add the PO to the repertoire if I could!

[QUOTE=samarth1;4196712]Omega PO 8500 without hesitation. It is a truly fantastic watch for the money, and probably the best value you can buy in the luxury segment today. Ceramic bezel, date, in-house movement, 60-hour power reserve, silicon balance spring for longer intervals between services, screw down crown, 600m water resistance WITH a sapphire back, and an assortment of OEM rubber straps of the finest quality along with an OEM bracelet with screws for easy sizing. Just unbeatable for the price, IMHO. Not to take away from the Tudor Pelagos, which is a fantastic watch in its own right, but the PO 8500 is a knockout. I recommend it without reservation.
Well said ...PO for me, no question. |

Now that I've been to a Rolex/Tudor dealer and tried on the Pelagos, I say Omega PO for sure. The Pelagos didn't feel good in my hands at all. Too lightweight and the Ti honestly doesn't do this watch any favors. It would look far better in SS.

Funny, I am going through exactly this process my self.
Looking for a tough, toolish type watch i can wear everywhere that is in the $4-5k range and that will complement my GMT BLNR nicely. Was dead set on the Pelagos until I ran across this thread!! Wonder if there is anything else that should also be considered other than the Omega PO? |

Planet Ocean for me. The Pelagos while a nice watch looks very dull to me. The PO is also heck of a tough watch. It my goto watch when I have to visit places with rough environment (warehouse, factories ) where it is expected to take knocks.
