That's great. Maybe during your 'time off' you can go back to school and brush up on your grammar and spelling. Let us know how that turns out...we shouldn't expect to hear back from you for at least 6 months, right?

No problem, and sorry to offend - I have amended the post.

And from your repeated use the term Moron to describe your subordinates (assuming you really were ever in any type of real leadership position...I have my doubts about that...but that's another issue altogether), I've got to believe 'Fear & Respect' more accurately should have read, 'Despised & Disrespected'.

Please spare us the repeated false bravado in conjunction with the sophomoric, foul-mouthed posts. I thank you in advance.
Moby, I'm trying to recall some old saying about noise and empty vessels, but the precise wording escapes me at the moment.

Just 'cause a guy signs some cheques doesn't make him a leader by any stretch of the imagination. Take him to be the little guy that he is and you won't be disappointed.

Well, he just got some points for that - after the last episode he's got no excuse for not knowing better. One mistake's the house limit, so don't go getting in strife on this guy's account.

Yeah...I think I can read a map, and even a chart if I happen to find myself on the ocean. It's kind of hard to be a Naval Officer for 7 years after graduating from the US Naval Academy and participating in 2 deployments (one which included a few extra dollars in my account due to combat pay) and not possess those skills.

You can "ROFL" all day long, but you still didn't answer my question about going back to school...you obviously could use a little brushing up on the fundamentals. Then again, you already knew that, didn't you?!?!

I'm done Troll...have a great life conquering the world.

It would seem that if they didn't like the first picture they could have simply taken another.

I think der Spiegel did a piece on this first.
Kleinfeld is not boss of Siemens anymore. He's now boss of Alcoa.
It was the new CEO Peter Loescher who announced the 17k job cuts.
Technically, he didn't take his watch off. In any case, it does look like a pose for a Rolex ad in the first picture. At least he has good tastes in watches.

That's my thinking as well. I suppose he, or whoever made the decision to arbrush the watch) didn't think it through.

I think the decision was based not on much on the fact that the watch was "expensive" because it really isn't for a CEO of a major corporation. I would think it was because the watch was too much the focal point of the picture. The whole diving watch with a business suit thing.

As a guy who owns more than one watch, I'd wonder why he didn't choose to wear another watch on picture day.

I apologize for having posted this thread. If I would have known that it ended in people offending each other, I would have just continued reading other people's posts.

Chill Mike.

It's an interesting thread. Nobody here will in no way blame you for another's actions.

These things usually have a way of taking care of themselves.

Hmm, six points for antagonistic conduct - that brings you up to 14 points. Good bye.
