I admit...it sounds terrible...however I love every piece I own...I've never sold a watch.

I was considering flipping the daytona since I have several other daytons hence why it''s still in the box but in the end I realize I won't sell it so next week it will get wrist time.

I believe the red marker is for the GMT reference time zone.

Thanks guys...I got out of the car and the seat belt buckle nailed the watch right on the crystal and I was like those freakin' guys on TRF hahahahahaha

thankfully no damage and i'm really enjoying watching how the sunlight brings out the deep blues, etc

My heart beat almost paused for a second when read that your seat belt buckle hit your watch.
Glad that no damage done.
I have similar experience with my 5167A, but I was not as fortunate as you, with a nick left on the bezel.
I guess how to protect our watch while on the wrist is an "alternative fun" of wearing it.
