It never will end for me.
Been a fanatic about Rolex for nearly 50 years. It all started with a Bulova Accutron in 1967. Thought the tuning fork technology was neat as a 13 year old.
Working as a house painter the summer I was 18, my first splurge was a Rolex.
Every five years or so, I’d go on a spree.
Hadn’t treated myself since original blue/black GMT, 6 years ago.....but then......
Last year, bought the BLRO, the Blue Sky and white gold sub.
Close to 30 in my collection, yet I still keep looking.

I was out having dinner with my wife one night. I must have been staring at my watch, when I finally looked up she reached across the table, put her hand over my wrist and ask, “So, what time is it”?...I didn’t know.

Last Dec I got a GMT Pepsi....then a SS White Dial Daytona on June 6, ten days later got a DJ41 fluted bezel blue dial jubilee, a week later an Airking, a week later a vintage YG Patek from 1978. Now I want a Skydweller.

It's a disease really... I find myself refreshing watch blogs and fora multiple times a day, mostly to find there are no new articles to be read. I think I've seen every watch Youtube video out there, even re-watching video's on watches that I already own.

And to top it of... sometimes I pause the tv to see what people are wearing. I need help...

Agree with this. I'm always looking and I know what watches I will most likely end up buying, when is another question.

Rolex AD windows are like attractive women. I can look but am not allowed to touch. Same goes for car showrooms...

I am looking now and will continue looking. I have a watch collection that is constantly evolving by addition and deletion of models. Part of it is the fun of the hunt and part of it is getting watches I want to try. I also take profits from watches that I bought right and can move for a significant profit that I no longer want. It is all fun.

I stoped doing so completely after getting this one. The more I look elsewhere the more I fall in love with it.

Been there done that, still do it from time to time, it is a process that we all have to go through, at some point in life. Nothing wrong with looking, if you are financially capable, then nothing wrong with buying either :)

Yep always on the lookout. After recently paying for my Sub during lockdown, I was already looking at what could be next before the store had opened for me to collect it...

I had a similar experience, bought a Daytona TT black dial during lockdown and had to wait couple of months before pickup. It’s actually been a good way of slowing down the aforementioned disease we have - drawing out the watch acquisition feeling out of necessity! Was of course still doing my daily future research but didn’t feel the need to be focussing on one as I hadn’t got the Daytona yet
