It's a big world out there, and Rolex sells nearly 1,000,000 watches per year, which is 83,333 watches per month or 2,778 watches per day. If only 1% of those post on here, that would be nearly 28 watches posted as incomings per day.

Agree. How do we know you’re the REAL edisonstar23? Post papers e.g, birth certificate, drivers license so we can confirm you’re who you say you’re.

FOMO thread. “Why am I not getting the call?” “Agree with me that I’m not the only one not getting the call”

Yawn

I get the call every 6 months or so for a watch on my list. I don't need a Rolex at 4x msrp LOL. If I never get the call for another watch again I am happy with what I have. My SA said he has been doing his best to spread watches around to all the customers.

Threads like this irk me. Just because you aren't getting watches doesn't mean there's some grand conspiracy. I am close with two ADs and know regular customers get "tough" watches every day. Yes its harder to start out but don't confuse that with "no regular customer is getting watches".

There's normally a bump in deliveries at the beginning of each year. I think with more people joining social media every year, we're just noticing them more.

Would it be possible to arrange a GTG where we introduce the people who insist that nobody is buying at grey prices to the people who are suspicious that people are buying at gray but pretending to buy at ADs?

A relative of mine is a VIP at a SoCal AD and he gets offered a few watches a month. Most are Datejusts, but there’s always at least an Explorer.

Just because you’re not getting calls from your AD doesn’t mean others are not

Plenty of people getting calls for their Rolex on a daily basis around the world. Some post here and some post on other forums. 99% of new owners probably don’t on any forums

Don't worry about it, OP. The TRF "Incoming" is basically just a boring, self-congratulatory flex.

You’re not wrong I think it happens occasionally. Some people by nature don’t want to admit they’ve paid market rate because many on the forums frown on it.

With that said l think it’s less common than you think.

I’ll be the first to tell you I’ve been buying Rolex, Patek AP you name it since they all came with substantial discounts new. I have paid secondary for watches from Thanh or David when I didn’t feel like putting in the time or effort to chase something down. It’s a much more enjoyable buying experience if you can afford it.
