I love this, and I am glad to see that others appreciate it. Usually everyone hates any modification/ personalization, and consider it sacrileage. I have shared my custom Daytona, and the usual reply is, "that is no longer a rolex". This one started as a 116520.

Sure, I have a friend who is a watchmaker, and he made this for me, to my exact specifications. I wanted the functionality and reliability of a modern Daytona that looks like the classic 6263 exotic white dial. So it's all genuine Rolex, with the exception of a custom dial and bezel. The case was slightly reshaped, and the crown guards were removed. I don't recall which model the hands came from, but the ends were clipped, and they were acid-treated so that they look shiny at some angles, and black at others. The pushers are genuine Rolex, but from an earlier Daytona, and they have been "brassed" to give them an aged look. The back has a glass display window, so you can see the movement.
