I'm thinking the current blue dial will be a keeper versus the newer shade of blue on the new model.

To me the only drawback is TT. Other than that it's a beautiful watch.

I think the drawback is its "flashiness". I think more people look on my wrist when I wear the bluesy. I don't know if it was the blue or the gold.

I'll trade your 'D' TT Blue Sub for a non COSC 'K' 14060M.

They don't make them any more and that is a great deal.

I don´t waer mine everyday.

And although I was not sure about it being too flashy, until now only ONE person did notice it.

My Lawyer ;-)

He´s a Breitling fan and definitely doesn´t like my new Bluesy ;-)

He would have to admit, that it´s the most strikingly beautiful combination of BLUE and GOLD in the World - beats any Breitling ;-)

Hermann

P.S.: till now he is my friend, too. Hope this won´t change. I DID recommend him a Daytona ;-)

Penn State 24 Texas A&M 17. Alamo Bowl, Austin, Texas Dec. 2007.(sorry, couldn't help myself).

i had bluesy as JJ would say, traded it, never looked back......
right now am looking for the TT,Black face, sub date...it's quite beautiful, but as was said in an earlier post, the watch with the highest resale value, and actually, the highest all-times sales for one rolex model, is the iconic, SS Rolex Submariner Date.

anyway, who cares? if you like the blue dial, enjoy!

Aside from the price of admission, I cannot think of a negative about this watch. I suppose a newer style bracelet would be nice, but not if I had to go to the new case/dial!

This was my grail for MANY years.

The biggest negative is that it's BLUE...........

It stands out louder than a nose boil at a high school prom..............
