Thank you so much for your input. I'm thinking of getting a treadmill home, and skip the gym, lol. That's the only way I can enjoy the watch every single day.

It is meant to be daily watch by PP as are all their other models per the company. Having said that, it is a dress watch with 30m water resistance with no added shock resistance as some watches have which are made for rugged activities. So, it really depends on your daily level of activity more so than the watch. If you an avid golfer and want to wear your watch while playing golf, the 5270 is probably not for you as a daily.

Beautiful watch. Yeah, the humidly in some places makes it impossible to wear strap watches during the warm seasons.
