It will be at the 6 o’clock position if the cyclops is over the date window on the SubDates.
On the Subs it could be anywhere unless it was replaced by a RSC.

The bubbles of molten sapphire glass formed by the lasers are about half way through the crystal depth on my SD 16600 and are on the same plane.

They are not at different depths.

For the life of me, I can't see it on my Daytona 116500LN. Don't know if flashing the light on the crystal, with the white dial makes it hard to see.

My slate DJ is incredibly hard to see, find, locate, even with magnification of a loupe, etc. whereas the GMT I picked up recently, almost immediately you'll see it. Both though, I lay flat, light at about a 90* direction from the 9 position view from the 5-6.

Bright light at an angle is the key:

This is the key...

Very very tough to locate on a white dial. I still haven't been able to spot it on my Panda.

Yes. With my polar Expl II I shine a bright flashlight, aiming from the bezel at 1400 24-hour position, across the surface of the saphire so as to cast a shadow that extends about half way into the stick indicator at 6 óclock. The coronet can then be viewed in contrast to the shadow.

Does the Sub 126610LN have the etched coronet? I've read up on them and can't seem to find anything definitive? The watch I thought was a 116610LN, is a gift from my son but now find it is a 126610LN.

It is easy to see with my loupe from Horotec, just move it around in the light and it appears in a few seconds. Much harder to photograph with my iPhone, as seen here. Impossible for me with the naked eye.

Boy our watches sure look horrible and dirty under magnification!

Usualy I don’t see the coronet, but in this time I’ve found the right angle. The saphir looks fake !
