If I had some big, fat wrists, I'd go for the skydweller.
But instead I'm wearing an explorer1, 36mm version.

GMT for one watch. The Skydweller is phenomenal in a collection.

If it were a scenario where I could only choose 1 watch for a collection I’d take the gmt. If I we’re adding to a collection with other ceramic sports model’s maybe the skyD.

I have both and couldn’t see myself parting with either.

To me...
SkyD is for the businessman who is in a suit and tie a lot, even when traveling.
The GMT is for everyman.

Im a bum (jeans and T or hoodie) I have a DD 40 YG and I have no desire for a SkyD, Id get a WG Pepsi Meteorite GMT before the SkyD or a SS Pepsi if your budget is not PM

I have the Batman, Batgirl, Pepsi, Sprite, SkyD Blue. My favorite is the SkyD Blue. I might get the SkyD Green or an Oysterflex SkyD.

GMT every time. The SD is the one watch in the Rolex collection I don't like.

GMT based on size & I don’t need a perpetual calendar.

GMT. More iconic, more aesthetically pleasing (to me), and I try to stay at, or as close as possible, to 40mm (or less).

But I do like the complexity of the SD’s 9001/9002 caliber (relative to other contemporary Rolex calibers).
