But I do now have a shit ton of flashlights, lighters, and matches.

Upside of the weather; wear any watch you want anywhere you want! No “is it safe” questions when it’s -10 and the would be robbers and thieves are inside trying not to freeze their broke asses off

Plus hard to snatch and grab from under a parka

24C (74F) in Adelaide today and warming up over the weekend as we finish the Tour Down Under.

Expecting 35C by Wednesday next week but it’s 31C in the pool today.

TG for aircon.

I’m with you! Roughly the same temps here in Nashville. Feels even worse since it’s been lasting a bit now.

I’m moving to Belize…

I spent my first 17 years in Aberdeen Scotland, we left for New Zealand in ‘64 then Australia in ‘72.

We like Adelaide.

ps. I think you have done very well in Canada Nicholas.

65 at the beach in Santa Monica CA yesterday, while riding my bike along the bike path.

In 1985 I moved from Alberta Canada to Marina del Rey CA and while riding my bike along the Pacific Ocean on Christmas Day it was 85 degrees. That pretty much sealed the deal on every living in snow again.

Eddie, much to kind with the compliment. I do appreciate it...Australia is a country that I still want to visit with my family one day. Heard there is a huge population of my ethnicity....Italian.

BTW...only -24C this morning again...the dog flipped me the bird when I said put on your booties and jacket if you want to go out for a pee and poo.....he hates those things.

If you are ever in Adelaide I will take you all to La Trattoria, our favourite restaurant and the best marinara ever.

As for the weather we have a forecast of 41C tomorrow in the city and 39C where we are but cooling down to 24C for the rest of the week and it is a Friday holiday.

I’m not sure who has the better deal?

You might have a case of, what's commonly referred to as, "SoCal softness." Anything outside of 55F-85F warrants a reconsideration of plans.

I agree.

41C is a once or twice a year temp.

It is going to rain tomorrow and then we have 24 - 26 until Sunday at 28.

The weather in Oz has been completely different this past year and the rain over on the east coast has been devastating and getting worse.

Other countries are having the same weather changes?

We've definitely had similar weather changes, unbearable summers up to 40c, months of rain, floods, draughts...

25C average is nice though, I could get used to that

Just an update Bas.

My son and family live in Perth Western Australia.

He sent me these two pix.

First is the temp in his courtyard.

Second is overnight yesterday.

These temps are higher than any previously recorded maximums for his area.

Very concerning weather with a cyclone now tracking down the coast from the north.

Lol! No. It would be nice with these cold dips in temperature lately in the area. I wish sometimes. Only in my thoughts. Lol! Taking THC with me in memoriam as well. Lol

Mexico in about a decade though. Lol! Not quite Belize but consistently warmer than here.

That's absolutely bonkers, I could definitely not live in that climate.
