Honestly seems to be more durable than my SS or WG?
Could this be the perfect metal??

That my friend is what life and this forum are all about!

No worries, not even with 98 octane gas!!

This watch is exposed to everything in and out of the car, no fear pure enjoyment!

Had it for a year now still like new in spite of me!

I'd love a platinum but I'm more than happy with my Grail:

Im wearing my DSSD this week, it feels light compared to the platona and the BLRO

The weight of that metal is a difference maker :)

What is the pricing on these? I see on Ebay they are around $64k and a Amazon listing of $62k...I saw on earlier on in the threads folks talking about the price in the high $50k's...

Based on the MSRP of ~$75k and the dealer paying a little over 50% of that ~$40k (not sure if that markup is true on the platinum watches) I assume non AD dealers have room to negotiate on this piece.

I thought after my Two Tone YM II I would be done...oh boy

I checked few Rolex blogs and learned that the DSSD and the Platona are 215g & 280g so the Platona weighs 65g more. The BLRO weighs 220g. I also owned DSSD but my wrist is too small so it does not get any wrist time.

Congratulations on being lucky number thirteen. It is truly the ultimate Grail! Welcome to the club; I can't match Dr. Tom's pictures because of my sedentary life style. Wear it well my friend.

The more I look at this one Tom the more I like. The diamonds very subtle and the glacier subdials quite subdued. I also like that I have yet to see one in wild or on any forum. I like this one a lot!!! Very tempting my friend!

Thanks a lot for posting
