What box should I have for my 1987 16013 TTDJ?
Is it 68.00.02?
I do not have any at the moment, but may purchase one.

Hello everyone. I'm new here and am seeking some information on a watch I recently acquired. This watch is very small, gold and square shaped with a round window in the center. It has Tudor and a rose above it inside and on the back it says 10.012. The knob on the side has a crown on it and the number 20 (I think) next to it. Any info would be appreciated.

To update the table please continue to tell your reference.
I have a question. Ref 16750 in 1984 was sold with 67.00.08 BOX. And for 1987/88 have you some example of this one?

I have Submariner Model 16808 Serial No 8083XXX. My ex wife kept the house and everything in the closet including the box for it. I'm trying to replace it but I can't determine which box to look for. Can you help me?

Thank You So Much ! I read your list and saw that you listed the right box for the 16800 submariner as the 67.00.03 box and that it was for a 1988 model. Forgive me for having you repeat yourself . I thought my 16808 was older than that and there isn't a listing for the 16808 specifically. Do you happen top know how I could find out what year my watch is, or at least what years that Rolex manufactured the 16808 model?

Sorry, but I can talk about only for GMT's (my great passion). I don't know the Submariner history, but I could counseil to you The Submariner Story by Mondani. It is an expensive book, but if you like SUB you should have got it.

Is there a single source that lists the boxes by model and year for all Rolex models? I have a 1979 1507, a 1986-87 16753, and a 1990 16233, and none of them are listed here. Thanks!

Hi there, I know this is an older thread but I have a dj 16233 E serial / think 1990 or 91 and after box and booklets etc that would have come with it. The lists are unclear. Which box number do I need etc. Help appreciated. Or if cant find that number what style of box will be the same as that one originally issued. Thanks

Sorry if I reply only now.
I know two kind of box with 67.00.08 reference:

On the left you have the early 67.00.08, on the right the late 67.00.08.
Probably your 16750 (product '82-sold '83) is correct with the early

Continue....

Please continue to say for your watch:
1) ref. watch
2) ref. box
3) date of purchase

This is a free database, I can't reply to all your request.
If your ref.watch is in database you'll know the correct box, otherwise you'll have to continue your research. All I know is that database.

Soon I re-edited it here....

Those are the Bufkor sport boxes used by Rolex. There were three successive versions used from the mid 70's to the early 90's.

This thread is an excellentw discussion of boxes for Rolex sport watches from the early 70's on...;

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ighlight=boxes

This analysis by TRF member "Springer" is the most correct and succinct explanation I have read;

The two other photos - the one with the GMT and accessories depicts the early 1980's Bufkor box and the third photo depicts the mid-1980's Bufkor box.

The progression of the Bufkor boxes goes like this:

late 1970's, light green lid (no leather-grain pattern on the lid), light green inner box

early 1980's, dark green inner box, dark green outer box lid with a course leather-grain pattern on both the outer box lid and inner box

mid- 1980's, dark green inner box, dark green outer box with a fine leather-grain pattern on both the outer box lid and inner box
