I got mine somedays back to 2016 by walkin in Hong Kong at RRP. In those days people did not willing to pay at RRP, they asked at least 10% discount from AD or walk away, therefore I were lucky to buy this masterpiece and time flies.

because that's the response some AD's give people. I was told the same thing. In order to get the latest and greatest I would need to spend somewhere between 200k-300k first. And that is a quote not some number I estimated...

My point is its nonsense. If this is the response you got from your AD, you are doing it wrong and/or need to find another AD to work with. Good luck.

just curious, where in the world/ US are you located? Frankly not going to get an AD in Missouri or somewhere else far away, especially since most AD's value if you live locally. But obviously you are not wrong, it's definitely a crazy world.

In a major US market, we have 3 PP AD's in my general vicinity.

Those days it was easy but not now. No way you are gonna get a 5712A unless you are prepared to wait for 8 years and there is a strong chance that it is going to be discontinued. The one lagging behind is the 5712G and you shoukd strongly grabbing that before it is discontinue and prices start to shoot higher.

I think this is just a lesson for me or maybe someone else WHo think they can build the relationships with AD and then you can get whatever you want. I cant start again, but you can if you have not done it yet.

Sorry but I really feel you need to spend a minimum of $200k EVERY year to be prioritized. There are people at every AD that spend a lot more than this.

It’s crazy to say but that’s what I have found

With 200k cash, one can make much more $$ than the Nautilus.

Find yourself a likeable AD and plead a case.
Nice one. Seems like your AD is great and you perhaps got "lucky". Enjoy.
