Agree. Treating any salesperson with respect is the bare minimum.

But the issue is, that you are essentially competing with other customers for that salespersons attention.

I see Google reviews for ADs where people have written crazy, over the top reviews for the sales person after just one initial visit, obviously trying to curry favour with them in the hope they stay front of mind.
