Its a beagle you are lucky you still have the watch and your hand...... I have never seen a Beagle that was not hungry 24/7. She is a lovely little dog. I would leave it, scratches are part of life.

Could make for an interesting story about that time that major storm rolled in while you were boating and you had to save your dog...

I doubt it's noticeable from any distance, but if it really bothers you, I agree with other members; get it polished.

While it would bother me, I would probably leave it. With my luck, I would send it out, get it back and hit it on something the next day.

I had a similar experience with my 3 month old Daytona and 1 yr old golden retriever. Out of the gate it really bothered me however as time went on, every time I happen to notice it, it now brings a simile to my face because I remember the fun time I had playing with my dog when it happened.

Did the dog's teeth get a mark and dental care is eminent?

Wait until you have it serviced. There are going to be ALOT more scratches to come. Enjoy the watch.

I would leave it.

Every time I try to take care of my watch, I end up banging it on something for no logical reason whatsoever, so I just scream angrily at myself, stay mad for a couple of days and the feeling goes away.

Every mark tells a story and makes the watch unique, I would recognize it as mine anywhere! Also, fixing it every time it gets a scratch would get very expensive, very fast!

What a sweet beagle! Not a watch but 30 years ago my puppy chewed the top part of my gold Cross pen. Later on I had to take the pen Cross to get the twist mechanism repaired. I specifically requested they not touch or replace the chewed top. Got the pen back - fixed, polished, and the top still chewed. I cherish that pen. I'd leave it. :)

I'd leave the scratch, my dog loves my watch, so does my girlfriends lab, I think they hear it ticking and they get curious as my girlfriends lab will clamp his mouth onto my wrist around my watch when it isn't even peaking through my sleeves. he just knows it's there. only one scratch has been put on by him though, and it lives amongst the 100's of other scratches my watch has gotten in the past few years of wear. I'd leave it, you'll get plenty more scratches, trust me, and I guarantee they won't have as memorable of a story.
