...as far as Ellen being a Rolex Ambassador, i’d Prefer to see someone like Kate Upton sporting a Rolex. Now that would be some ambassador

I met Ellen in the past and she is a hell of a watch collector! She would fit right in here.

You could very well be

But I was talking more generally than just this thread - I’ve seen it multiple times before here

In deed she does. Sho donated 1 million dollars to rebuild a high school gym after Hurricane Harvey.
Here is a list where she did donate:

Did they tell you to look outside of TRF for a bit?

Glad she can afford what she likes.

Now I'm waiting for the lawsuit for non original parts.

20+ years ago when she was just starting to build her collection she commented on TV how hard it was to get a stainless steel Daytona. The late Irv Marks, owner of the IW Marks Rolex dealer here in Houston, publicly announced he would get her one.
I don't know how long that relationship lasted but it was great publicity for the store.

This article confirms to me that Rolex watches ARE investments and a place for the wealthy to park money.

I am glad to see the overwhelming response to Ellen on this watch enthusiast forum is extremely positive. As it should be...

She earned her money by working hard.

She donates a ton to charity.

She has taste.

And she wears her watches well.

What’s not to like?
