Kind of amazing how these watches fall out of the air all the sudden...after a DD40 purchase

I have both actually. Got the TT in Sept last year. Now got the SS Blue.

Still looking to get a full YG SkyD.

Yes, I bought a DD40 president for myself and a DJ28 president for my wife last Friday.

That seems to have ‘unlocked’ my Blue SkyD, for which I was on the ‘list’ since last year May...

Congrats on the watch. You did get lucky because prior to covid, even with a DD pickup you would have been sitting on your thumb for another year waiting, or more.

Agreed. I really didn’t expect for at least another 6 months or so to get it.

I was told that Rolex has not been shipping and the Blue SkyDs are so hard to come by etc etc that it didn’t even cross my mind they might have one lying around...

Turns out there are much fewer people that are dropping top dollar for a Rolex at the moment and I guess it was right time, right place.

I’m fully aware of that
