Financial freedom / wealth for many people is different
Mine at the moment is that I'm 48yo , living in Europe, even though I'm from Australia, not working, however have the financial income to live in semi retirement. I haven't worked since end of Jan this year and to be honest I'm beginning to get bored because even though work seems to be a pain for others, for me it was fun end I enjoyed it. Mind you it wasn't my huge capacity of earning money though work to get me to this stage, it was just a little of luck in my investment strategy that had paid off for now

Having said that, everything can come crumbling down at any moment, however, I do not mind if I have to go to work and start again.

Life is too be enjoyed now and it doesn't matter if you work out not, because you do not know what if install for you in the future.

Wealth is relative but I believe that it was best described by Kevin O’Lewry ( Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank): personal freedom.

The ability to work on what interests you and helps someone else as opposed to unlimited leisure or consumption. The ability to provide for your children.

That said, we all come into and leave the world with nothing but our skin.

Money, they say, won't buy happiness.
It just ensures that you can have a bloody nice time, being miserable.

Slightly off topic, but I wanted to remind this:

When wealth is lost, nothing is lost;
when health is lost, something is lost;
when character is lost, all is lost.

This is very good.

Also wealth is happiness and freedom with those you love without your STUFF running you.

Wealth I'll say to me is getting stuffs I need when I need them. Not there yet, but working on it with couple of savings, investment and all. Now, will I spend $40k on a piece of steel? Yes I probably will, all what's acquired on earth must be spent on earth.

Worked just under 30 years in LE. Retired after all those years working crappy hours, weekends, and holidays. Left with a nice pension, and a 403 (B) plan I hope never to touch until I have to (age 71). Work part time 9 months a year to pay for family health insurance. Have a tiny mortgage, no other debts. A few toys that I paid cash for. Nice wife, and a super 10 year old son. Doctor Jordan Peterson said in one of his lectures that once all the bills are paid, and some money put away, people are generally just as happy as those who are extremely wealthy. We're only here a blink of an eye, don't store your treasures on earth.
