Not saying one is authentic and one is not, just different.

My concern was with the dial text on the op original post. Something looks off. It might be the crystal causing it but a front on picture will solve that. I have seen a few Frankenstein op lately. Real movement fake case fake dial.

It was a fake. Laser etch crown was at 9pm, those cracks were fluffs:hairlike particle under the loupe. The movement also went counter clockwise when turning the crown forward. I received the full refund from Chrono24.

Buyer beware even from dealers.
Not much confidence to be gained here.
Customer has to authenticate their own purchase.

A cautionary tale for those paying crazy prices on the grey market. You found out now and got your money back. I'm pleased for you.

Others will find out many years in the future, when the grey dealer has long since disappeared, and any chance of getting a refund with it.

This was badly executed and the fluff alerted you. Lots of Rolexes are being sold at inflated prices which are hiding a multitude of sins, and with no fluff. An unpleasant surprise to be discovered many years in the future.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m glad you got your money back. It is a great watch when you get a real one.

I don’t think I will ever buy online again. The picture and the watch I receive was not the same

OP do you have more pictures? cant tell if its really fake by just looking at the picture you posted. may be the seller get back the watch and refund you just because its price skyrocketed after the 5711 tiffany blue auction, but i'm not so sure.

The Rolex crown at 6 being off centered made me question it and found other stuff along the way

etch crown at 9pm instead of 6pm? i'm surprised people who make fake watches nowadays would make this kind of stupid mistake!

The laser etch on a Roelx without date cane be anywhere. I have a Daytona 116520 and the laser etch is on 2pm. I read on TRF, that laser etches are not always on 6pm for non date watches.

Glad you got a result that must be a huge relief.
I think although availability is limited I'd only trust a bricks and mortar authorised AD.

Again I’m not question the authenticity I just think it’s Rolex level of dial work. It’s not their thing. They make high quality, robust watches. I also agree with Peter, “put away the loupes” when looking at a mass produced dial. I’m sure Rolex will fix the mark but then you’re left with mediocre printing and again “put the loupes away” and life will be perfect or look at the many brands out there that are known for dial work. Rolex is not one of them.

This was a great call out. I had a feeling it was not authentic after reading this comment .

Glad it worked out for you, OP
