I just purchased (incoming) the BB Chrono with opaline dial. I have three Rolexes that I love dearly and wear for different occasions. The BB Chrono will be taking over for my Explorer I 39mm as my daily wearer. At least for now.
I wanted a chronograph with contrasting sub-dials. I wanted a chrono that would fit my larger wrist. I mostly wanted a premium chrono that wasn't selling at 3x list (steel). I have a vintage Omega, love the brand. The Speedy history is a cool story to tell. At least with my BB chrono I can tell the story of it being powered by Breitling. |

I have a speedy moonwatch for two years now and it’s a great watch. I also just got new tutor panda chrono (baytona) and it’s very nice . Its hard to say which one is better .

For this point, the new Speedmaster’s bracelet has a great improvement. Before this, every time I’m interested in any Omega model, especially those reissue and broad arrow edition, it will fade away after I saw how they wear. The thickness, how bracelet run down on your wirst, the lugs. |

The new Speedmaster is truly awesome. I just wish Omega would release a new automatic version with the same case/bracelet. Once Omega does this I feel Tudor will have much more competition against its new Black and White Chronos.

Omega make too many models , they should slim down their range a little.
I still own 3 Omegas and have owned a few others but for me these days walking out of the dealers and losing half the price of my watch has made me focus on Rolex |

IMO, clearly Omega is the superior brand name to Tudor and I bet that general public recognition data (if there were any) would support that. Omega has a rich history as a watch brand and makes quality watches that I believe are equivalent to Rolex. However, their issue has always been overproduction both in number of individual units and the number of models, hence no scarcity. As someone else mentioned Omega has the opportunity to really take the cake as the "I made it" career milestone/status watch with Rolex's current production numbers but they really have to step their game up with marketing.
Tudor is just "poor man's" Rolex in my mind. ^ the bitcoin/Patek part gave me a good laugh. Spot on my man!
