Hot price for a hot piece? My guess is prices will drop when biden starts spying on bank accounts. Likely will rise if he can't though.

I hope so... I have zero desire to sell my Daytona but if it reaches $100k, it's gone for sure. That's just crazy money for that watch.

Wow, a measuring contest on TRF.

Daytona demand is always strong. Someone just posted a thread about buying a 116500 from a grey.

Quite sure, your reply was the same when the Daytona was selling for $18K, then $25K, on to $30K and now...........

So glad I am not a fan of the black ceramic bezel. Is it bad that I have zero desire to own this piece even at retail?

Or.....it could just be that they've tried the Daytona on and don't care for it, for a number of different reasons.

I haven't commented on this thread, but I honestly don't particularly like the Daytona myself. I find it wears too small for my personal preference, and I genuinely hate the asymmetric lugs on the SS models; I just can't unsee them.

Haha, did you really take the pic at Home Depot to prove some rando (me) on the internet wrong? Ok, you win this round. Until next time...

Edit: now I feel bad for you. Even that JC looks small on you so no Rolex watch will look appropriate. You need some Hublots.

All in good fun my friend!

Now you see why I gravitate towards the 42mm and up Rolex. I don't think I'm gonna explore Hublot though, I much prefer the crown.

I agree with others about crypto. If we start seeing a major bull run, Daytona prices are going to increase as well.

A lot of "watch enthusiasts" have millions of dollars and are in their 50's or higher and not in good health. We have seen many of our generation (and YOUNGER) die and are under no illusion we have the infinite time some of the posters here seem to think they have.
Do you think the scorn from some 20-somethings on a forum will keep them from paying 45 or 50 if they want it?
Just the other day there were 3 boys killed in a late night crash on 95. 21, 22 and 23. And some here want our generation to wait 10 years we may not even have for a watch we can afford right now without a blip in our finances?
Because of some omerta type code; "I only pay MSRP"?
Good luck.
Keep wishing on stars-prices aren't going down for a long long long time.
