I just wanted to throw this in for you.. I originally had the GMTIIc and flipped it for the Sub-LVC, the LVc just had a little bit "more too it"..

Hi all, I am new here and am in love with this watch! I also might be the only female posting on this thread! Anyways.... I was hoping if I could get some help from the experts here! Can someone tell me what the serial numbers for the Sub with the Green Face/Green Bezel is as well as the Green Bezel/Black Face. I know its up to personal preference but, which one do you guys prefer? and which is more popular of the 2? And just one more question, I see on the Rolex website the all Green sub but not the Black/Green one, does anyone know why this is? Thanks everyone! look forward to the replies.

The green black finished in September 2010 it was replaced with green green ceramic.

Both are awsome

Hi! Firstly welcome to TRF (The Rolex Forums)

First of all the numbers are...

-116610LN (Black ceramic Submariner)
-116610LV (Green ceramic Submariner)

I personally prefer the green bezel green dial new ceramic sub as its really bold and has masses of wrist presence

It is all down to personal preference and I think you should get yourself to a Rolex AD and try out both models so you know which one is for you

I'd say the black ceramic Sub is more popular to the green.

The old style green sub with green bezel/black dial is a discontinued model and has been overtaken by the new ceramic green bezel/dial Sub.

Good luck on whatever you decide on

Thanks Dingoo93, I really do love this watch, I saw some of your pictures, such a beautiful watch, the colour is just amazing!! I am going to get around to trying on this watch and see which one I prefer. Till then I will just have to look at everyone's pictures!
