Bracelet is a work of art.

In my dreams they make a quick release option in SS and RG for the 4500V

Is this a piece you envision would ever be released in steel or platinum, or unlikely?

Truly elegant. Congratulations!

Previous Historiques lines did come out in other metals. Christian Selmoni has deflected the question to this YG jumbo being the least produced of all 222.

Not 100% true. Didn’t the CDV come in a steel, rose gold and platinum? That was a historique piece

I think Christian is trying to head fake us but it will indeed come out in a white metal. There's a historique'l precedent for it.

Maybe VC will make a SS version of the 222 a “mass produced” version while the gold version will be a short run specialty that becomes a collector’s dream…

I think if a WG 222 was released I wouldn’t be able to stand up for a few days

I was offered the 222 but passed on it. Kind of kicking myself but it wasn’t on my radar since I am waiting for another VC piece. I love the 222 but the price is steep for a time and date only with 40 hours of power reserve. Man, wonder if I made a mistake though. It’s a stunning timepiece!

How is the ownership experience with the current 222? I now have an opportunity to acquire one from the boutique and wonder if any collectors here can share their experience. E.g. Does it scratch like crazy? Any regret?

It does not scratch like crazy, it’s brushed so it does very well, even as a daily.

No regrets, it’s beautiful to look at, has a storied history and is very limited. I would take it if I was you.
