Looks good. Not sure if this is aftermarket or the 5168 version. Can that fit on the 5164?

5650 has a different pattern but is the same size.

5168 version fits - I have one which I will fit to my 5164 when i get around to it.

I think they have now become almost impossible to source.

Looks good there, but the blue indicator is so dark in most light, the blue strap I conclude won't work often enough for me.

I like it. Pretty sure Patek won't sell me one for my 5164. Its all part of their evil plan to get me to add a 5168G... for the strap.

I'm a fan. Patek should produce a range of colors for these straps. Just my opinion.

Totally agree - PP offer(ed) a wide range of coloured rubber straps to previous generation of aquanaut. The profit margin should be rather high given the price point, so why not do it for the latest generation

I called into the London Patek Salon last week and asks about the green straps.
Firstly I was told that the strap was originally fitted to a limited model. But that the traditional black one and the brown strap were available at £180.00 each.
When I pushed on the availability of the green one, the staff member said that they could send a request to Geneva, but that it may get turned down.

Tony, just tell them to simply order the product code I´ve posted on page 1 of this thread. The green strap is officially listed in the PP catalogue.

We know the product code for the green khaki strap is H970.1202.VT. What is the product code for the black strap? What does the code "C09" underneath the black strap represent?

Wow that blue strap looks fantastic. If/when the ADs start selling those, I'm in!

Yes - some people in the US have managed to get hold of one.

I haven't had much luck.

As for the green one - its simply a matter of quoting the product code. It may be easier to get this ordered from an AD rather than the PP Salon.

The new blue strap from the 5168G fits the 5167.

This is a watch that did not look good to me in photographs, was even worse in person, a real Emperor's new clothes. A green or coloured strap has done nothing to elevate this dismal design.

I personally think it looks really classy like it's not a bright green so much so they call it khaki and not green it goes superbly with a grey suit for example.

Thats because PP is no longer accepting orders for that strap. No AD is going to be of any help either

pretty sure they will sell you one if you own a green aquanaut. Otherwise PP cant really promise to restore every watch they have ever made. Thats 1/2 of the watch right there and a black strap isnt really a substitution. It seems like a Rolex move in not allowing modifications they dont want, like how you cant order a glide lock clasp for a GMT.

Just ordered one. They took my order.

I'll report back on whether it's accepted by PP.

Baller! I think the green would be much much more though. I wish you hadn’t said that now I want a 5168

Not discontinued at all, as I pointed out in the link in post #145 – it's restricted to owners of the LE model it was designed for.

Semantics. Nobody has that watch so for all intents and purposes it’s discontinued.
