Just saying that the spece between Oyster and Perpetual and Date look to wide when compared with other pictures and my own SUBC. This could be due to the picture. And I saw a smudge on the cyclops (maybe dust). Thats all.

See red: The space between the words it appears smaller on some pics and my SUBC but I see plenty SUBC with the same space.. so this is nothing.

And the smudge/scratch on the cyclops I saw.. I am glad everything woked out well and that you are happy with your watch...

Padi's suggestion of rubbing alcohol would have fixed the problem posts ago.

Even now Eddie some have not even read the thread and just jump in like the one above with comments like that would drive me crazy. What drives me crazy is that they did not read the thread before replying.

Return for sure! That ceramic insert is the LAST place I'd expect an imperfection/udage mark if I were considering buying used. So it's perfectly understandable how you would be led to believe it was merely lint on the watch in that photo when it was advertised as "mint".

edit: oops just read that the bezel is alright and the "scratch" scraped off...sorry.

Seems to me that I remember smacking my LV and later seeing something that looked and felt like a scratch....

Started picking at it and sure enough some of it came off, got some rubbing alcohol out and a soft cloth and after 5 minutes it was gone. Probably a leftover memory of that afternoons lunch...

These bezels are a lot tougher then some credit them for being. Expensive but pretty near impossible to kill unless they sustain a real heavy direct blow, the kind of impact that most of us will probably never encounter.

Oh boy this seems like a PM would have done the trick. This thread was brutalized in what we thought was its home stretch.

The spot came off new comers!
