I have two colleagues, the first has Rolex Daytona and the second UN Marine. Both confidently claim that they will never return to a bracelet (Oyster and President) or leather band after Oysterflex elastomer and Rubber. A week ago I thought it was a joke. But now I think that they may be right.

Need Your suggestions. Many thanks.
would love to see a photo of the OP39 on leather! I've been toying with the idea for mine. Did u go Everest? steel end links or no?

Hands down the 116500 on bracelet. I’ve worn just about every Rolex offering, and easily 2 dozen different brands in my lifetime and the 116500 disappears. Suit, French cuffs, causal wear, scorching hot days, freezing cold days, doesn’t matter, daytona chews through it all. I’m a 24:7 wearer in all conditions sleep, shower, pool, beach, and the Daytona is the only one I’d say checks every box consistently. Easily the best watch created by man. Close second is the Patek 5711 but that is Bigfoot’s ghost now. NATO straps tend to turn on my wrist and obviously don’t do well after getting wet, silicone gets slippery and doesn’t give the proper heft needed, rubber traps sweat and gets bothersome in hot conditions, and mesh just feels weird. I have 7.5” flat wrists so round backs roll, plus I’ve also always worn bracelets with two finger pull so they sit lower on my wrist when my arm is down and higher when my arm is up.

One thing I forgot, in my experience comfort is largely due to weight. The Daytona runs about 140 grams, whereas the sub and GMT are in the 160 range with the gold models pressing 230 grams. It doesn’t sound like a lot when we’re talking percentages of ounces, but you’ll notice it.

I am starting to sound like a broken record, but the 214270 is becoming my favorite daily wearer. It is the only Rolex that I own that I never have to think about because it feels indestructible, but at the same time is super low profile and extremely comfortable. LOVE this watch!

My IWC Big Pilot. Despite being a large watch, it sits beautifully and feels right. Among the Rolexes, my favourite is the SD43. Hands down the most comfortable.

I can only speak for what I own, for me it's the 116500LN, I sometimes forget it's on my wrist, the 16610LV comes a close second.

From most to least comfortable I would list mine as:

1) Swatch
2) G-Shock
3) Rolex 1675
4) Omega Speedy
5) Rolex 126613
6) Seiko SKX007
7) Hamilton Khaki Pilot (46mm)

I haven't worn a ton but I like my OP41 on 21mm bracelet. It's nice a thin and smooth compared to a DJ41 and the bracelet is very nice. I'd like to try a jubilee bracelet sometime.

Who knew the 16570 would be going up as it has, a year ago I bought one in decent shape for $5,300 and forum members were telling me how dumb that was, they were sure with COVID prices would be dropping.

I had a 14060M with a Glidelock clasp on it. Those thin lugs with the Glidelock was heaven!
