Wow, I can understand a shelf or wall dedicated to watches but how many watches must you own to fill a room?!
Looking at the dims its more like a safe because only one person could stand in that "room"

lucky guy. you are so fortunate to have space for a watchroom. very envious here. I can barely fit an office space into our plans. maybe we need to move out of the city so I can get a watch/shoe room.

My constructive criticism is as follows(if you care).

- The trim around the bookcase looks like trim around a door entry/exit. If you want to further disguise it as a bookcase possibly change that trim?

- From the pic's it looks like there is a decent gap between the bottom of the bookcase and the floor. This may be due to the fact that the finished floor will occupy that space? If not and you again want it too look more like a "genuine" bookcase possibly address the gap?

Both items are nothing more than wanting your bat room to be completely secretive.

Super cool. Wish I would have thought of this when we built our house. Could have done a combo watch/cigar room.

Excited for you and looking forward to the pics.

Yeah I could see putting the gun safe, whisky collection, and humidor rack in there as well. All you'd need is a poker table and you'd have the grand slam of man cave accoutrements.

Nice.

Of course, I can't really dedicate a room to just two watches. Heck, not even a closet. But I guess a boy can dream.

Building a house is quite an adventure - when you're not getting frustrated and annoyed, it's really quite exciting.

Ha this could be awesome. Would it just be a 'Watch Room' or a study like area for beverages etc... I'm having trouble convincing the Mrs to let me put an Eames lounge and ottoman somewhere in the house lol.

Guys,

Thanks so much for all of the positive feedback! It's crazy to think how far the house progress has come! We should be in around the end of October!!!! My wife should really be an interior decorator!

I'll post some progress pics soon!

Thanks again!
