I have grow into the idea of a DJ with 41 mm.
Still it is strange that for example the EX2 and Sub are smaller then this (new) model dresswatch......

A sign of things to come maybe? - good or bad, I guess it's up to each individual to decide that.

Just curious but did no one buy a jubilee strapped DJ2 - excluding the WG and PL DDs??

LOL Eric mate LOL....

two more weeks & I'll have enough cash saved to collect my GMT II c OR my DJ II......

(I get quarterly bonusses so it'll be another three months 'til I can collect the next one )

but then it'll be so close to Basel I'm tempted to wait & see what's released 'just in case'.

me thinks if you want a SS GMTIIC, get it now.
If you want a DJII, then wait for Basel, but the new models won't be out towards end of the year!

Yeah I know, tough decisions to have ;-)

Sorry it's slightly "off thread" Eric mate but what I'd really like is a pair of (ie: black & white faced) Explorer II's with the bigger case & maxi-dial......
but if they're not forthcoming at Basel I'll grab the GMTII first & the DJII out of my next bonus. (I think! )

I'm interested in buying a new DJII but concerned about it's size. The 36mm is definitely too small for my liking but I'm concerned that the 41mm looked too big on my 6.75-7 inch wrist when I tried it on at an AD (wife and saleslady [not that I would believe the saleslady] said it looked good). The strange thing was that the Sub looked too small on me while the PO (42mm) and Speedy (42mm) looked just right.

May I ask all the DJII owners how the watch wears? What is your wrist size? Does it look big? Do you get used to the size after a few days of wearing it?

Thanks,

From a potential DJII owner.

I don't own a DJII but I've tried plenty on!

IMO they wear similar to a GMT/Sub' & if you're happy with the feel of a 42mm Omega you'll be even happier with the DJII.
